23rd annual summer Mini Olympics

The Mini Olympics are a for-fun exhibition for all Academy students. It is a chance for students to show and perform what they've learned so far in a safe and fun environment. Additionally, it is a great opportunity to put their new skills and routines together in front of an audience, and for coaches and staff to evaluate overall performances. All participants will receive awards in recognition of their accomplishments and performance.

When: Saturday, June TBD, 2019
Location: South Coast Gymnastics
Schedule: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Gymnast Entry Fee: $16.00
Spectator Entry Fee: $1.00 (paid at the door)
Registration Deadline: June TBD, 2019

Participants

All students from preschool to level 4 boys and girls are eligible. 

When

Two Mini-Olympics are held a year: one in the winter and one in the summer.

Awards

Every participant will receive a certificate of accomplishment, a medal, and a goodie-bag. They will be individually presented with the awards on a stand at the end of the event.
**feel free to bring a camera, parents!**

Attire:

For girls, a one-piece leotard is strongly recommended (or check with their coach).
For boys, fit T-shirts (not loose or baggy) and black shorts (again, not baggy).
For participants with long hair, please tie it neatly back.

Photography:

Parents are free to take pictures before, during, and after the event, but please no flash photography during the event. Also, audience members must stay in designated viewing area.
