The South Coast Gymnastics Girls Team just concluded a successful 2015-16 competition season. Every girl did their very best and the medal count showed! Our regular season comprised of five meets: Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas, San Diego Classic, Long Beach Open, Los Angeles Legends and SCEGA in San Diego.
Impressively, our girls brought home across 5 meets:
- 18 Team Awards
- 19 First Place All-Arounds
- 50 Top 3 All-Arounds
- 71 First Place Events
Honorable mention goes to Level 6 girls who brought home team awards at every single competition! Way to go! And to the following girls who took podium (finished in the top 3) at each meet…a big accomplishment:
- Level 8 / Jessica Lin & Jadyn Wakita
- Level 7 / Paris Crenshaw, Ashley Hagihara and Ava Shaw
- Level 6 / Paige Hasegawa, Makayla Hoyt and Vivian Vallely
Special thanks to all the coaches who helped our girls achieve and polish their skills. And thanks to every single girl on team. Each girl on team helps the other get better so we think each one of our team members are valuable to the success of our gym!!
For our optional girls, they have State, Regional, Westerns and Nationals. We’ll keep you posted on how they do!
